Martial Arts World quests: tracking and early objectives

Press M and open Journey to find your active quests in Martial Arts World. Select the quest you want to follow and track it, then click its location marker to show where to go. Journey also lets you untrack quests when you want to follow a different objective.

Complete the opening constable task

When your opening quest asks you to report to a constable:

1. Follow the quest marker to the constable.
2. Approach and press E to speak.
3. Select the quest dialogue marked Finished.
4. Click again to finish the interaction.

Look for Quest completed to confirm the turn-in. Reaching the constable is only part of the task; finish the marked dialogue as well.

Recognize and accept new quests

While speaking to an NPC, look for a red exclamation mark in the dialogue. It identifies an available quest. Select the offered quest, then choose I'll do it to accept.

After accepting, open Journey to read and track its objective. This is useful when you have both a main-story task and side quests available: select the one you intend to work on before following a marker.

Follow the early quest objectives

Petty Thieves outside the town walls

Once you have accepted the early petty-thief side quest, track it and follow its marker outside the town walls. Defeat the marked Petty Thieves until the objective is finished.

Return to the quest giver and select the dialogue with a check mark to turn it in. The Quest complete confirmation tells you the hand-in is finished. If the enemies are giving you trouble, see the combat guide.

Fire and Patience: refine any pill

Speak to Pill Master Yao at the Pill Pavilion and accept Fire and Patience. Its objective asks you to refine any pill at a cauldron. Golden Wound Salve is one option that satisfies it:

1. Gather two Mountain Ginseng.
2. Put both ingredients into an Alchemy Cauldron.
3. Choose Refine.
4. Press E or click as the timing ring reaches the center, repeating the timing input through the refinement.

Successfully refining the salve completes the pill-refining objective. The quest allows any pill; Golden Wound Salve gives you a specific recipe to use. For more recipes, see the pill recipes guide.

Walls and Gates (1/2): open Cultivation

When Walls and Gates (1/2) is tracked, press M and choose Cultivation, as its instruction directs. The quest lists three objectives:

• Look over your Cultivation page.
• Push through your next stage wall.
• Learn what a breakthrough needs.

Use that list to identify which part you still need to work on. Opening the page addresses the inspection task; the quest also asks you to advance through a stage wall and learn the breakthrough requirements. When the main story asks for a higher level

The main story can pause behind a level requirement. One checkpoint asks you to reach level 18 to unlock the next storyline. Follow the requirement shown by your own story objective; level 18 belongs to that checkpoint.

Keep following main quests as you progress toward later regions. For region two, completing the main quest is required to unlock its fast travel, even if you enter the region before finishing it. See how to unlock regions when you reach that part of the story.
