Martial Arts World builds: Heavenly Demon fan setup
Set up Heavenly Demon Divine Art with a spirit-scaling fan for boss fights in regions one and two, including early stats, art activation and an attack rotation.
For boss fights in regions one and two, pair Heavenly Demon Divine Art with a spirit-scaling fan and invest mainly in Spirit, with some Vitality. Once you already have the fan, the suggested early-game allocation is about 20 points in Vitality and the remaining points in Spirit.
The pairing works because most Heavenly Demon Divine Art abilities have Spirit scaling. A spirit-scaling fan lets that same attribute support your weapon attacks between art moves. Some abilities also use Strength or Vitality, so Spirit does not scale every move equally.
Activate the art and equip the fan
This setup assumes you have access to Heavenly Demon Divine Art and a fan that scales with Spirit.
- Learn the art if it is still a book. Select the acquired book in your inventory and choose Attune. The book disappears from the inventory, and the learned art becomes available in the Art interface.
- Make Heavenly Demon Divine Art active. Open Art and click the learned art to switch to it.
- Equip your spirit-scaling fan. The weapon's Spirit scaling is what connects your fan damage to the build's main attribute investment.
You can switch between learned arts by clicking them. Forget frees an occupied art slot but loses that learned art book, so use the normal art selection when you only want to switch.
Allocate your early stats
For an early character who already owns the fan, use about 20 Vitality, then the rest in Spirit as a starting recommendation. That allocation is a suggested build choice; the 20 Vitality figure is not an equipment requirement.
The purpose is to concentrate your investment in the attribute shared by the fan and most of the art's moves.
Use X, cycle art moves and fill gaps with the fan
With Heavenly Demon Divine Art active, press X for its damage boost, reported as 30% in the build guide, then follow with your attacks.
Cycle through the art's Spirit-scaling moves. When those moves are unavailable, attack with the fan, then return to art moves as they become ready. This gives the fan a practical role throughout the fight: keeping you attacking between art moves while using the same main stat.
When your skill energy needs replenishing, hold G to recharge the energy bar.
This is a creator-recommended boss setup for regions one and two. It can also clear groups of mobs, though the creator describes large-group clearing as a weaker use for the art.
