Martial Arts World pill recipes: early alchemy guide

For your first cauldron refinement in Martial Arts World, make Golden Wound Salve with two Mountain Ginseng.

Early pill recipes

The Alchemy Cauldron’s recipe book lists these early formulas. The levels below are the labels shown beside each recipe.

Golden Wound Salve lets you try refining with just one ingredient type. For Qi Gathering Pill, you’ll need Spirit Grass alongside your Mountain Ginseng.

How to refine Golden Wound Salve

1. Gather two Mountain Ginseng. Look for it among the materials you can pick up from the ground around the map.
2. Go to an alchemy cauldron and open Refine Pills.
3. Select Mountain Ginseng twice. If you have already discovered Golden Wound Salve, you can select its saved recipe to fill in the ingredients automatically.
4. Choose Refine. Press E or click as the circle reaches the middle. Continue responding to the timing prompts until refinement finishes.

Making Golden Wound Salve also satisfies the beginner quest objective to refine any pill at a cauldron, if you have that objective active.

How saved formulas and recipe hints work

After you make a formula, the cauldron remembers it. On later attempts, selecting that recipe automatically selects its ingredients, saving you from choosing them individually again.

You can also manually refine a known ingredient combination without owning its recipe scroll. You still need the correct combination; the saved-recipe shortcut becomes available after you have made the formula.

Where to get ingredients

Mountain Ginseng can be gathered from the ground around the map. Spirit Grass is gatherable in Mystic Grove, though nearby mobs can be dangerous while you collect it.

If you have access to the auction house, you can post requests for pill ingredients. Other players must supply those requests, so obtaining the materials depends on someone filling them.
